[note:Mozilla Firefox requires none of these adjustments and is generally very reliable]
First Delete Cache (note: you do this step twice):
- Open IE
- Tools >> InternetOptions
- Under General Tab, click Delete in Browsing History.
- Select Temp. InternetFiles, Cookies and History. (Select the Preserve Favorites website data check box if you do not want to delete the cookies and files associated with websites in your Favorites list.)
- Click Delete. This could take awhile if you have a lot of files and history.
- Close, Apply, Okay
Close the browser and open it again.
Now go back to Tools >> Internet Options
- Click on the security tab and highlight "Trusted Sites"
- Click on the button that says "Sites"
- Add the https://smartt.doemass.org to the trusted sites Ensure that the Trusted Sites is selected
Select Custom Level button for the trusted sites and set the following properties
- Automatic Prompt for download : Enable
- File Download : Enable
- Allow META Refresh : Enable
- Use Pop Up Blocker : Disable
- Active Scripting : Enable
- Enable XSS Filter : Disable
Clear your cache again on General tab
- Under General Tab, click Delete in Browsing History.
- Under General Tab, click Delete in Browsing History.
- Select Temp. InternetFiles, Cookies and History. (Select the Preserve Favorites website data check box if you do not want to delete the cookies and files associated with websites in your Favorites list.)
- Click Delete. This could take awhile if you have a lot of files and history.
- Close, Apply, Okay
